United States-based slot machine maker Konami Gaming Inc, a unit of Japanese conglomerate Konami Corp, says its new KX 43 video slot cabinet was well received when unveiled at the Global Gaming Expo (G2E) 2018 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
A written statement issued on Wednesday said the KX 43 had a 4K Ultra HD display, slim profile and a library of game content unavailable elsewhere.
The statement quoted Konami Gaming marketing and product management senior director Steve Walther as saying the new product had met with operator “approval” as well as “anticipation,” regarding its introduction live on casino floors .
Among the new titles on the KX 43 are Vegas Rise, Expanding Egypt, Hong Kong Lights and Mayan Times.
Mr Walther said: “KX 43’s exclusive game library is focused on delivering greater value to players in ways that are clearly visible and tangibly experienced with each spin.”
Konami Gaming also showed at G2E its Concerto Collection of slot cabinets and its big library of games.
Game novelties displayed included Strike Zone and Reels Up, with new bonus features.
Konami Gaming also introduced its SynkConnect cardless player loyalty system, said to allow casino patrons to log in to their player loyalty account at any suitably-equipped gaming machine, using authentication gadgets such as a fob, room key or mobile device, as well as a conventional player loyalty card.
Konami Corp reported in Julythat its gaming and systems division had net revenue of about JPY6.4 billion (US$57.4 million) in the second quarter of his year, 1.9 percent down on a year earlier, but made an operating profit of JPY900 million, 7.9 percent more than a year earlier.
